Missionaries For Sexual Wholeness

Dear members of the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists:

I hope this message finds you well. It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Director of ABCST. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in this role and collaborate with such an esteemed group of professionals dedicated to integrating faith, science, and compassionate care.

My journey in the realm of integrated care for sexual healing began when I took an Introduction to Human Sexuality at Richmont Graduate University (then Psychological Studies Institute). There, the professors that taught my class revealed the deep need for skilled therapists to work with sexual issues. I knew I had found my niche.

Sexual Wholeness, Inc. was founded to “unveil God’s truth about sexuality.” Its certifying branch, ABCST, continues to be deeply committed to fostering understanding and healing in sexuality and relationships. I look forward to building on the incredible work already accomplished, offering new and exciting ways to equip our therapists with the tools to offer holistic, faith-informed support to individuals and couples, and provide a place where our community can gather, share ideas, and support one another.

In the coming weeks, I aim to connect with each of you to better understand your perspectives, priorities, and hopes for the future of our organization. Thank you to those who have already met with me, and for the warm welcome I have received from ABCST members and ISW students. Please do not hesitate to reach out to share your insights or simply to introduce yourself.

I am eager to begin this journey with you and to see the impact we can make together. Let’s go be missionaries for sexual wholeness in the name of Jesus!
