ISW Expansion at DTS

We are grateful to report continued exciting developments with Sexual Wholeness at Dallas Theological Seminary. We just completed the 18th Introduction to Human Sexuality course at DTS! The Intro continues to be the most popular elective course at DTS, with 40-60 students each year, including students from 6 different degree programs. Eight hundred and thirty students have completed the Intro course since it was introduced in 2006. Our Sexuality & Ethics online course, offered every Spring at DTS, is becoming the 2nd most popular elective course, with 30-40 students each year attending from all parts of the world!

Three of our newest developments occurred last month at DTS. All 9 of our ISW courses have been approved as a part of the DTS curriculum and catalog. Also, the DTS Counseling Department now offers Sex Therapy as one of four specialty tracks! And last, beginning in May 2025, DTS will recognize an outstanding student in the Sex Therapy track with the “Doug Rosenau Memorial Award.” This brings such a smile to our faces as we imagine Doug (a DTS alum) seeing what he has brought about at DTS.

Thank you Dr. Barnes for all your work on these accomplishments, and thanks be to God!

CEU Update

Sexual Wholeness, Inc. is now able to offer CEUs for LPCs, LMFTs, and LCSWs through the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.

A huge thank you to Angela Landry who spearheaded the application process, and to the Sexual Wholeness Board for their encouragement throughout the 10-month undertaking!
